Hi Bill.

It looks like your John Tillett may well be the John Tillett I have in my tree here: http://www.stronski.org/trees/individual.php?pid=I1470 who was christened in St. Michael's, Winterbourne on 6 Aug 1780. His parents are Benjamin Tillett and Love Cole.

For a marriage I find:
marriage:	09 Jul 1805 —St Philip And St Jacob, Bristol, Gloucester, England
spouse:	Hester Tizzard

record title:	England Marriages, 1538–1973
groom's name:	John Tillett
bride's name:	Hester Tizzard
marriage date:	09 Jul 1805
marriage place:	St Philip And St Jacob, Bristol, Gloucester, England
indexing project (batch) number:	M17288-2
system origin:	England-ODM
source film number:	1596782

Certainly the right marriage but hard to say for sure just from that if it's the right John Tillett. If you can get a look at the original record it may well have witnesses or names of the fathers or both which would make it more reliable.

For Mary Tizzard Tillett I find:

Mary Tizzard Tillett
England, Bristol Parish Registers, 1538-1900

residence:	11 Jun 1815 —Gloucestershire, Almondsbury, St Mary
parents:	John Tillett, Hester Tillett

record title:	England, Bristol Parish Registers, 1538-1900
name:	Mary Tizzard Tillett
event:	Christening
event date:	11 Jun 1815
event place:	Almondsbury, St Mary, Gloucestershire, England
father:	John Tillett
mother:	Hester Tillett
digital folder number: 4254873

Another possible child christened in Winterbourne:
1806 Aug 3 bap	Jane daughter of John & Esther Tillett.

The date fits and Hester and Ester are often used interchangeably in Parish Records.

There is data in my tree on the Tilletts going back to before 1600 if it turns out to be the same John Tillett. my 4x great-grandfather was William Tillett who was a younger brother of John's. Which would make him my 5x great-uncle.
